Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) Training & Program Support

Continuing to support the Navy, Marine Corps and Army Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) Programs from our offices across the country, L-3 DPA has provided state-of-the-art program support, engineering design and operational analysis. In addition, L-3 DPA has contributed to the success of these programs with its exploration of unique UAV designs and mission profiles. L-3 DPA has provided engineering, technical and analytical services which have contributed to the accomplishment of system engineering and programmatic requirements associated with UAV program development. These include the Pioneer Short Range RPV, Pioneer Radio Relay, Mockingbird, Pioneer Alternate Fuel Engine, Medium Range RPV and Amber programs, as well as associated fiscal and program management.

L-3 DPA provides Pioneer Maintenance & Operator training in Pensacola, FL. The US Army Tactical UAV (TUAV) operators and maintainers are being serviced with curriculum development and instruction through L-3 DPA's office in Sierra Vista, AZ. Tactical Control System training support and Crew Resource Management (CCRM) services are also provided through Lexington Park, MD and Arlington, VA.

 

Shadow 200

L-3 DPA serves as instructors and provides curriculum development for the Shadow RQ-7B.  Instructors provide classroom, simulator and live flight training at the US Army UAS training school in Fort Huachuca, Arizona.  Students include personnel from the US Army and US Marine Corps RQ-7B units.  CBT is in production for the system to provide fully interactive courseware from electronic classrooms.
